My name is Emily, and I am delighted to be one of the Non-Executive Directors for Mental Health, for NEW. I currently work as a Family Therapist/Systemic Psychotherapist for the NHS,  working with adults and their families experiencing mental health difficulties, within the Sunderland area. I am also a qualified Occupational Therapist, and have recently started a Level 3 Certificate in Wilderness Therapeutic Approaches. I am passionate about the outdoors and the wealth of wellbeing opportunities that being outdoors can offer, and I am really keen to support NEW as they further develop their wellbeing programmes.
